Connor Leads New Assassin’s Creed Toy Line From McFarlane Toys

February 8, 2013 by blurppy

One of the world’s most successful video games franchises, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed is coming to a toy store near you.  McFarlane Toys is partnering up with Ubisoft and will be bringing the games most popular characters to a store near you.

-McfarlanetoysCharacters Connor and Haytham Kenway will be part of McFarlane Toys’ Assassin’s Creed series 1. Connor will come as two action figures – one in his Assassin’s Creed III traditional assassins garb and the second, as Ratonhnhaké: ton in the upcoming “Tyranny of King George” storyline. Each figure will be sculpted in the hyper-detail that award-winning McFarlane is known for by collectors and fans from around the world. Each figure in The Assassin Creed figure line will stand approximately six inches tall, include an average of 25 points of articulation, and will come with a unique code that unlocks exclusive Assassin’s Creed video game content! It really does make the purchase of a collectible ever sweeter when it comes with some DLC. Unfortunately, we’ll probably have to open the box to get to it. Decisions, decisions…

McFarlane Toys’ Assassin’s Creed action figures will retail between $14.99–$16.99 and will be available at retailers including Walmart, Target, Toys “R” Us, GameStop and Amazon as well as a number of local comic book stores.

Useless Fun Fact: There’s only one Connor when it comes to Assassin’s Creed III, but this Animus avatar isn’t the first fictional Connor to be immortalized by McFarlane Toys. Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor from the Terminator films was the first. McFarlane Toys never produced any version of John Connor, which means Edward Furlong, Nick Stahl, and Christian Bale just couldn’t cut it.

You can get your first look at the upcoming Assassin’s Creed action figure prototypes at next week’s International Toy Fair show, February 10-13, booth #4921. Who else do you think will be featured?
