Alabama is in the lead with over 48,000 votes, and Michigan is trailing in a very close second with just over 44,000 votes. Texas A&M is falling short with just shy of 30,000 votes. Oregon is rounding out the top four with about 24,000 votes. Notice on the right of the main picture: Notre Dame is fighting quietly with 8,000 votes.

Meanwhile, EA announced the guys who will be representing their teams. Here is the list of the eight remaining teams and the possible candidate for the next cover:

Notre Dame – Tyler Eifert
Michigan – Denard Robinson
Florida State – E.J. Manuel
Alabama – Eddie Lacy
Georgia – Jarvis Jones
Ohio State – John Simon
Oregon – Kenjon Barner
Texas A&M – Ryan Swope

Reports of Notre Dame’s Tyler Eifert and Texas A&M’s Ryan Swope trickled onto the NCAA Football Facebook Voting page a little later than the rest. Here is the long awaited list of finalists, and quite a few fans were a little skeptical of the chosen candidates. Regardless, they’re all here, and the teams haven’t been decided yet. There’s still time to vote in or vote out your favorite team.

How does everyone else feel about the finalists? No matter who wins, it’s still a great honor to be considered for the cover.
