Imangi Studios is coming back to throw down on all the other phone games. A sequel to the fan favorite Temple Run is making its way to iPhones and iPads everywhere. In fact, it will be exclusively available to iPhones and iPads (sorry Android users).
Temple Run 2 features more of the same, but also showcases brand new levels, different settings, more moves and player abilities, a brand new set of achievements, and all new obstacles that should keep players flicking away for hours. In other words, Temple Run 2 offers up the best things from the original and enough to get you back into it all over again.
The first Temple Run has had some incredible success, and it looks like Imangi has geared up for a bigger, better sequel. Even with the additional features, all the slides, jumps, and turns aren’t anything that would blow the hat off Drake’s head, but it sure is a fun game to pass the time. I played Temple Run pretty much every chance I had, short of a couple red lights. This leads me to my next point: don’t play Temple Run 2 while you’re driving. You may end up swing upwards at the windshield right before taking out a long line of parking cones. Not speaking from personal experience of course.
Believe it or not, the first Temple Run has been downloaded over 170 million times. That’s more times than the average person blinks in an entire year. If they made a penny for every download, they’d be multimillionaires. Luckily, Temple Run 2 won’t cost a cent. Free to download is always sweet music to a gamer’s ears.
Jump or slide on over immediately and download Temple Run 2. It’s free at the ITunes store. Thanks a lot, Imangi. I just stopped seeing incoming coins when I closed my eyes.
