Every year is just as exciting as the last. The votes are in, and there are 16 schools left in the NCAA Football 2014 cover bracket. Fans are fighting for their schools in this year’s NCAA Football Cover Voting polls. The remaining teams are (for the most part) as expected.

The sixteen remaining teams:
Alabama Texas A&M Michigan Ohio State Oregon Penn State Notre Dame Georgia Navy Wisconsin Florida State Florida Tennessee Nebraska Texas LSUThe tide is in a comfortable lead with over 8,300 votes, and is a pretty good bet they’ll wind up on next year’s NCAA 2014 Football cover. In a relatively close second, Texas A&M has 7,500 votes. Michigan is trailing in third at 3,200 votes. The last few spots are all bottleneck: between 1,400 and 2,200 votes are Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, and Navy. This round of voting ends January 22nd, and with a few teams on the bubble, every vote counts.
If your team was voted in, make sure you cast a vote of your own to push them into the top 8. If your team wasn’t voted in, vote against your rivals. Either way, make sure to go vote!
Decisions on the school should be made around February 3rd, and February 4th marks the date when voting begins for the winning team’s athlete(s) who will appear on the cover. Odds are also pretty good you’ll see Alabama’s QB AJ McCarron on the cover after becoming the first QB to win back to back BCS Championship titles. Not to mention he opted to return to Alabama for his Senior year. Though, if Alabama does win, we wouldn’t mind seeing AJ’s girlfriend on the cover:
While we’re all waiting for the 2014 cover voting decisions, hop on 2013 and join the online play. Relive (or recreate) the events of the Alabama / Notre Dame championship game.
Or if you like pipe dreams, choose the Sun Devils.
